Influenza H1N1 (Human Swine Influenza) - Important notice to parents, carers and staff
National authorities have made a decision to introduce a range of important new measures to limit the spread of Influenza H1N1 (Human Swine Flu).
Students returning from overseas
Queensland will adopt the national policy of requiring students to stay away from school for seven days if they have recently returned from countries affected by Human Swine Influenza.
Any student who has recently arrived or returned from the following overseas countries should not attend school for a period of seven days: Mexico, United States of America, Canada, Panama and Japan.
The list of countries that the seven-day exclusion applies to is regularly reviewed and updated on the Australian Government's Department of Health and Ageing website .
