Parents' and Citizens' Association
The Parents & Citizens Association is a group of parents and interested community members. We work in partnership with school staff to build a stronger school community – for the benefit of all students. The P & C is an active body within the school and provides a link between the school and the community.
We help raise money – and decide how to spend it – and we can influence decisions about school policy and development. Everything we do promotes a better school and a better school experience for our children.
For information or to register for updates, please email us.

- contribute to decision making about funds and policy
- help out with fund raising
- tell your friends and fellow parents what’s going on at our school
Voluntary contributions
Ironside P&C has, for some years, operated a scheme asking parents to contribute to school funds. This money assists in the valuable work of enhancing facilities and providing equipment and teaching materials, including computers and sporting equipment.
Parents may pay this as an annual amount, in February, or monthly. When you pay the contribution you may choose to have it directed to the building fund in which case it is fully tax deductible.
So where do you start???
P&C Meetings are held in the staff room on the last Tuesday of every month at 7:00pm. All parents, staff and members of the community are welcome. Come along to join the P&C or contact us to register your interest and receive regular updates.
