Tuckshop
The school tuckshop operates to provide parents with convenient, healthy meal options for their children. Any profits from the tuckshop are managed by the Ironside State School Parents and Citizens (P&C) association to directly support improvement of the school facilities.

Operating Hours
8:15 a.m. to 1:50 p.m, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. (Not open on Friday)

Location
Ground level of E Block (behind main administration building)

Tuckshop convenor and volunteer arrangements
The tuckshop convenor is Mrs Jane Wurth (employed by the school P&C association). Volunteer parents and friends assist Mrs Wurth in running the tuckshop. Mrs Wurth is always keen to hear from people interested in volunteering one day a month. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Tuckshop ordering arrangements
Available for purchase is morning tea, lunch, snacks and drinks.

All orders for tuckshop should be placed in the classroom tuckshop box before 9:00 am each day. The child's name, class and order should be written clearly on a paper bag, which contains the money for the order. Menus and price lists for tuckshop are sent home with the school newsletter at the end of each term and are also available from the school website.

Prep students will be able to order lunch from Term 2.

Tuckshop is open for over the counter sales at morning tea for Years 3 – 7 students only.

Years Prep, 1, and 2 students must bring their own morning tea to school.

The tuckshop is open to all students for after lunch snacks.

Any outstanding amounts owed to the tuckshop should be paid before the end of each term.

The tuckshop opens the second week of school at the beginning of each school year and closes on the second last week of the school year.

Homebaking
If you are unable to assist in the tuckshop, you may like to join our homebaking team. Parents and friends are rostered to bake a slice, some muffins or slices once a fortnight. These items are then sold at morning tea. Please contact the tuckshop during operating hours if you can assist with homebaking.
