Young ICT Explorers

Young ICT Explorers is a high achievement program that provides an opportunity for students to demonstrate academic achievement.
Students develop a technology-related project of their choice and present this to a judging panel of academia, industry partners and ICT professionals. Each project is assessed on the criteria of creativity, uniqueness, quality, level of difficulty and project documentation.
Congratulations to the 40 Ironside students from Years 4 – 6 who showcased their projects at the Young ICT Explorers event at the University of Queensland. Special recognition to Charlie & Annabelle (Year 4) achieving second place and Christopher (Year 6) earning a Student Choice award.
Please see ISS Newsletter Edition 27 for some photos of the participants and a report from Maia (one of our attendees).
