Ironside State School is one of Queensland’s highest achieving primary schools. As a result places at Ironside are highly contested. Ironside State School recognises as its prime obligation the provision of access to an appropriate educational service for students whose principal place of residence is within the school's catchment area. While the school is near capacity, applications will only be accepted from students whose intended duration of enrolment is greater than 12 months.  Applications are prioritised by their projected duration of enrolment.

The Enrolment Management Plan sets out the conditions under which students may be enrolled into Ironside State School.
Due to the high number of enquiries Ironside State School receives we conduct school tours at 9.30am each Tuesday and enrolment interviews each Wednesday during the school term.   There will be an additional school tour conducted on Friday 25 January at 9.30am, please meet at the school administration office to attend the tour.
