Transition Information
Starting school is an important milestone in a child's life – and supporting children to successfully transition to school helps foster their enthusiasm for lifelong learning.
Please see the following links to help you support your child in moving from an early childhood centre to formal schooling.
Future Enrolment Process
Families are to submit an enrolment application for each eligible child. Once each application has been reviewed, prospective families will be invited to attend one of our dedicated enrolment days.
As explained in our Prep Information Video, these days have been specifically designed to provide your child an opportunity to engage in small group activities, interact with our experienced teachers and start to build a sense of school life.
Further opportunities to engage with school take place in the latter part of the year. Opportunities such as school excursions (as coordinated through our partnerships with local early childhood centres and kindergartens) and our "Meet Your Teacher" morning in the final week of school.
Information relating to these opportunities is explained to families as they progress through the enrolment process.
2023 Enrolment Interview
After your application has been reviewed and approved by our Enrolments Officer, you will be provided details regarding an enrolment interview. Four days have been allocated to this process.
Enrolment interviews take place over one hour. The format for the interview is outlined in the table below.
