Friends of the Arts is a group of dedicated parent volunteers who provide food and refreshments at music and arts events throughout the school year. The aim of FOTA is to encourage parents/ friends/ family to come along and support their children, and to also raise money for items to support the music and arts programs at Ironside.
In 2014, FOTA hosted our inaugural 'Lunch on the Hill' and 'The Ironside Ball'. These events were a great success and raised money for the purchase of sound and music equipment for the school hall. FOTA volunteers also prepare meals and sell refreshments at evenings throughout the school year, such as strings and band evenings, choral performances and our annual Festival of Carols. FOTA is a very welcoming and inclusive group, who would love to hear from you if you would like to be involved. Please contact Ms Ruddick, Deputy Principal (firstname.lastname@example.org), to volunteer your assistance.
