Transition Information
Starting school is an important milestone in a child's life – and supporting children to successfully transition to school helps foster their enthusiasm for lifelong learning.
Please see the following links to help you support your child in moving from an early childhood centre to formal schooling.
Enrolment Process
Families are to submit an enrolment application for each eligible child. You can download an application form via the link on the side.
Alongside the enrolment application, parents who wish to enrol their child at Ironside State School will be required to provide supporting documents as proof ot their residential address and citizenship.

2026 Enrolment Interview Schedule
After your application has been reviewed and approved by our Enrolments Officer, you will be provided details regarding an enrolment interview.
Enrolment interviews are conducted each Wednesday during the term with the student starting school the following Monday. Please be aware there is no onsite parking.
