Enrolment Packs
Families are to complete a 2027 enrolment application form for each eligible child and submit the application to enrolments@ironsidess.eq.edu.au
Alongside the enrolment application, parents who wish to enrol their child at Ironside State School will be required to provide supporting documents as proof of their residential address and citizenship.

Timeline
Prep Parent Information Session: 5:30pm Thursday 6th August 2026
Prep Open Classroom Morning: 9:30am - 11:30am, Saturday 22nd August 2026
Prep Enrolment Meetings: Starting Term 3, Week 5 (August 10th).
School Tours: Throughout Term 3 (July 13th -September 18th) and Term 4 (October 6th to December 11th)
Step Into Prep - Transition Sessions: 2pm - 3pm Thursday afternoons Term 4, Weeks 5 - 9
Ironside "Playtime" Coming in 2027: Date to be announced.
Transition Days
Our
2027 transition program aims to engage
students in rich and challenging experiences. It will allow our future preps to get a glean of school life, our facilities, and their future teachers.
Uniform Fittings
Throughout Term 4, our Uniform shop will be open at additional times to accommodate the families of our future prep students.

Out-of-Catchment Enrolments
Ironside State School operates under an Enrolment Management Plan External link , meaning that enrolments are accepted only for students who reside within our school's designated catchment area.
Families living outside the Ironside State School catchment are encouraged to apply to their local state school. For more information regarding catchment boundaries and eligibility, please refer to our "Catchment Area" webpage.
