Enrolment Packs
Families are to complete a 2027 enrolment application form for each eligible child and submit the application to enrolments@ironsidess.eq.edu.au
Alongside the enrolment application, parents who wish to enrol their child at Ironside State School will be required to provide supporting documents as proof of their residential address and citizenship.

Timeline
Prep Parent Information Session: Date to be announced
Prep Open Classroom Morning: 9:30am - 11:30am, 22 August 2026.
Prep Enrolment Meetings: Starting Term 3, Week 5 (August 10).
School Tours: Throughout Term 3 and 4 (July 13-September 18, October 6-December 11)

Transition Days
Our transition program aims to engage students in rich and challenging experiences. It will allow our future preps to get a glean of school life, our facilities, and their future teachers.
Our transition program timetable will be announced at the beginning of Term 4.
Uniform Fittings
Throughout Term 4, our Uniform shop will be open at additional times to accommodate the families of our future prep students.

Out-of-Catchment Enrolments
Ironside State School operates under an Enrolment Management Plan External link , meaning that enrolments are accepted only for students who reside within our school's designated catchment area.
Families living outside the Ironside State School catchment are encouraged to apply to their local state school. For more information regarding catchment boundaries and eligibility, please refer to our "Catchment Area" webpage.
